Checking Warranty Coverage For Your Apple Device
If you need to check the warranty coverage on your Apple device, you can easily (sort of) find it through the Apple website. However, you will need your device serial number which may be found on the original product packaging, on the device itself and/or through macOS, iPadOS, iOS, watchOS, etc. (varies by device).
Once you have the device serial number, head over to Apple’s website. On Apple’s homepage, select Support from the navigation menu. Here’s where it gets a little inconvenient!
Apple used to have a direct link to check warranty coverage on the main Support page; however, it’s no longer here. That’s not to say Apple won’t put it back here at some point but it currently doesn’t show up making it inconvenient. Time is precious and no one wants to navigate through layers and sublayers of webpages just to find the correct page to check warranty coverage.
Fortunately, there is a quick and simple solution!
In the Search for topics field, type in Warranty and a drop down should appear. Under Quick Links you should see an option for Check Your Service and Support Coverage.
Select the quick link and voila, you are taken to the Check Coverage page.
Enter your device serial number and the code displayed and provided you have entered a valid serial number; you should be able to pull up your warranty coverage for your Apple device.
